I woke to warmth the kind that seeps into your bones and makes you never want to move. Rehan's arms were wrapped around my waist, his breathing deep and even against my neck. For a moment, I just lay there, drinking in the peace of it all. His face, usually sharp with intensity, looked almost boyish in sleep. The morning light streaming through the curtains caught the angles of his jaw, the curve of his lips that had whispered such tender words to me just hours before.
